PIXEL Director's Cut - a film by Felipe Barral
IGNI productions, the G channel & W Atlanta-Downtown hotel present PIXEL Director's Cut.
This version of PIXEL is the long, extended original version Felipe Barral cut after filming the movie, and from which he made the final version of 2 minutes and 10 seconds that was divided in 13 episodes that eventually became the groundbreaking public cinematographic event PIXEL that played for 8 months on the largest outdoor digital billboard in North America at the W Atlanta Downtown hotel in Atlanta between 2013 and 2014.
Felipe Barral decided to present this long version with just city noise as the original score for the film. That's how it was seen on the streets of Atlanta by people looking at the digital billboard. So from the beginning, PIXEL was considered a "silent film".
250 thousand people watch this particular billboard each day in Atlanta overlooking the highways I-75 & I-85 in the heart of Atlanta.
PIXEL is the first film released as part of the Billboard Film Series created by Felipe Barral, produced by IGNI productions.
